Haedong Kumdo Sword Class
      lead by Master Sang Kuk Choi
  • 8th Degree in Haedong Kum Do (World Haedong Organization)
  • 7th Degree in Hapkido (Korea Hapikido Association)
  • 7th Degree in Kyeoktuki (Korea KyeokTooKi Association)
  • 7th Degree in Tae Kwon Do (World Tae Kwon Do Federation - WTF)
  •  Vice President of the World Hae Dong Kumdo Organization
  • Vice President of the America Hae Dong Kumdo Association

The Haedong Kumdo Sword Class is held on Thursdays at 7:30 PM.
Students must be at least 8 years old.

The color WHITE signifies innocence, as that of the beginning student who has no previous knowledge of Haedong Kumdo 8Keup Basic Basic 1-2 Basic One
The color YELLOW signifies the earth.  The beginning student begins to create a
firm foundation in Haedong Kumdo technique, just as a see begins to expand its
root system deep in the earth as it begins to grow
7Keup Ssangsoo 1-2 Basic 3-4 Head strike Two
  The color ORANGE signifies the changes of Autumn, as the student's mind and
body begin to develop and grow as a result of the new Haedong Kumdo experience
6Keup Ssangsoo 3-4 Promise 1 Wrist strike Two
The color GREEN represents growth,like that of the green plant as it sprouts out of the ground.  The student has built a firm foundation and now begins to grow in the
art of Haedong Kumdo
5Keup Ssangsoo 5-6 Promise 2 Waist strike Three
The color BLUE represents the sky.  Reminding the student to reach for the heavens
and continue their Haedong Kumdo journey
4Keup Ssangsoo 7-8 Promise 3 Write-Head strike Three
  The color BROWN represents the ripening or maturing process as that of the advanced Haedong Kumdo student whose techniques are beginning to mature 3Keup Ssangsoo 9-10 Promise 4 Head-Waist strike Four
The color of blood, RED, signifies danger and is a warning to the student to temper his or her newly found skills and techniques with control and wisdom 2Keup Ssangsoo 11-12 Promise 5 Wrist-Head-Waist strike Four
Junior Black Belt is the final preparation stage before becoming a graduated Black Belt.  Students wearing this belt must work really serious in their attitude and Martial skills 1Keup Simsang Promise 6 Stap Five
