Master Chambliss became our first National Champion with his Gold medal win in forms.  Not too shabby for a 55 year old, despite the fact his competitor badge lists him as weighing 579 pounds. The mixups continue, as first his bracket sheet was missing, and then they misplaced his competitor badge and the judges thought he was a 5th dan black belt, instead of 7th dan.  Eventually, they got their act together and Master Chambliss wowed us with his fine performance of tagegeuk jitae.

Many of Team Chambliss arrived today and we're ready for a busy first day of Junior Olympic competition tomorrow.
